Virtual Field Trips
The Museum offers virtual field trips for students in grades 3-12 designed to educate young minds on the history and lessons of the Holocaust and genocide, as well as broader social justice issues and civic engagement. Educators also have the opportunity to request virtual sessions with docent and Survivor speakers, depending on tour type.
VIRTUAL FIELD TRIPSVirtual Teaching Trunks
Our virtual trunks offer resources to educators who are teaching virtually or who prefer digital materials. Virtual teaching trunks include access to e-books and digital texts, Illinois Holocaust Museum developed films, remote lessons and activities, and digital “arte-facts” to help students explore the stories of local Holocaust Survivors. The trunks are designed for K-12 classrooms – and explore themes including the Holocaust, genocide, human and civil rights, as well as character education, social emotional learning, and more.
