Gabriel Dut

Stories of Survival: Object. Image. Memory., developed by Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center, features powerful collaborative artworks of survivors of the Holocaust and 7 other genocides, showcasing more than 60 personal artifacts brought to America as families fled persecution and war. Each artifact is dramatically paired with oversized photographs with handwritten responses by Survivors or their family members, taking guests through a path to hope under seemingly hopeless circumstances.

In this video, Jim Lommasson reads part of Gabriel’s reflections.
