Live Performance: Y’all Better Quiet Down
Join us for a live performance at Center on Halsted with award-winning performance artist, writer, and educator Summer Minerva as they present their re-enactment of the late trans activist Sylvia Rivera’s famous call to action in support of the burgeoning LGBTQ+ movement in New York, originally delivered in 1973 in NYC’s Washington Square Park.
The performance will be followed by an audience discussion and Q&A chat discussion with Minerva.
