Recognized by Yad Vashem as one of the Righteous Among the Nations, Japanese Diplomat Chiune Sugihara risked his life and career to issue over 2,100 visas to help Jews flee war-torn Europe in 1940. Today, thousands are alive thanks to his courageous actions. Jun Yanagi, Consul-General of Japan in Chicago, will give opening remarks.

A cocktail networking reception will begin at 5:30 pm. The program will begin at 6:30 pm.

Reservations required. Free to the public.
