On-Site Film & Discussion: “Taking The Stand: We Have More to Say”
For five years, Bernhard Rammerstorfer collected questions directed to Holocaust Survivors that were posed by students from all over the world. Taking The Stand: We Have More to Say presents a powerful documentary compilation of these remarkable interviews with 9 witnesses to Nazi tyranny including Jehovah’s Witnesses, Sinti, a political prisoner, and three Jewish Survivors. Collectively, these Survivors were interned in 54 camps or institutions and imprisoned for 528 months (44 years). Their legacy and testimonies serve as a vital reminder for future generations, ensuring their stories are never silenced or forgotten.
There will be a post-film discussion with Taking The Stand filmmaker Bernhard Rammstorfer. He will sign copies of his book, Taking The Stand: We Have More to Say, after the discussion.
