Onsite Program: Leadership and Service in WWII
For Grades 6-12
Join the Illinois Holocaust Museum & First Division Museum to learn about personal stories of leadership during WWII. Follow in the footsteps of the US First Infantry Division from Omaha Beach to the Battle of the Bulge, explore American women’s participation in D-Day, and come away with 5 new stories plus artifacts to use in your classroom. Educators will have the opportunity to explore Illinois Holocaust Museum’s special exhibition, Ghost Army: The Combat Con Artists of World War II.
Workshop includes:
- New stories of leadership and service from underrepresented groups
- Discover new classroom resources including videos, artifacts, and classroom activities
- Complimentary continental breakfast and lunch
- 5 CPDU/Clock Hours
